Review : Woohooo! I'm loving the attachments!
Well, I upgraded my business from QuickBooks 2011 to QuickBooks 2012 just over a month ago now.
At first, I'll have to admit that I was a bit underwhelmed - the 2012 version seems pretty much just like the 2011 version to a non-accountant like me. On top of that, I kept running into the problem where it wouldn't launch because it said a previous instance was still running. After a couple of weeks, I was starting to wish I hadn't bothered. (As a side note, we run QuickBooks on the 64-bit version of Windows 7.)
Fortunately, Intuit released an update that finally fixed the previous instance problem and I was able to focus on the application instead of just trying to get it launched.
Although it still seems mostly like the 2011 version - there is one updated feature that makes this upgrade well worth it for us. That feature is local document attachments! (Seriously, what were they thinking when they went to an online subscription model for...
